Project Overview
The North Dakota 45MW Data Mining Farm required large-scale electrical infrastructure to support continuous, high-load computing operations. Designed for energy-intensive data mining activities, the facility demanded reliable medium- and low-voltage systems capable of maintaining stable performance under sustained power consumption and demanding climate conditions.
Our Role
Emirates Panel was engaged to supply key electrical infrastructure components supporting the facility’s power distribution architecture. The scope included coordination of medium-voltage and low-voltage equipment to ensure system reliability and compliance with U.S. electrical standards.
Scope of Supply
- Medium-voltage cables for primary power distribution
- Ring Main Units (RMUs) for MV network switching and protection
- Medium-voltage transformers for step-down power conversion
- Low-voltage panels for downstream power distribution
- Technical documentation and coordination support
Challenges & Solutions
High-capacity data mining facilities require stable power delivery with minimal downtime. Emirates Panel ensured proper specification alignment between the MV and LV systems, coordinated delivery schedules, and UL-compliant equipment selection to support smooth integration across the power infrastructure chain.
Outcome
The supplied MV and LV infrastructure components enabled reliable power distribution across the 45MW North Dakota data mining facility. Emirates Panel’s involvement supported operational continuity and scalable infrastructure development.
